Amman, July1 (Petra - Jordan news agency) -- Jordan Valley Authority
Secretary General and Head of the Red-Dead Sea Canal Project's Steering
Committee Musa Jamaani denied reports in local media on World Bank (WB)
financing of the project's first phase by $1.

2 billion.

Jamaani told Petra the news was baseless and that the meeting with the WB
officials touched on the project's phases and time needed to complete
feasibility studies.

The meeting, he added, did not touch on the financing issue.
