Definitions
1. In this Act -
"Public figure" - a man who carries public office or person who is known to
the public;
"Private person" - someone who is not a public figure;
"Boycott" - A public call for the social ostracism of or impairment of
social or economic status of the object of the boycott or ignoring the
professional authority of a public officer;
"The object of the boycott" - man or group of people, towards whom the call
for a boycott is directed;
"Public call" - bring something to the attention of the public or an
audience, using various media, or in a gathering in public, orally or in
writing;
"Public place" - any place that is not a person's private home;
"Private place" - a person's private home.
Prohibition on imposition of boycotts
2. A person will not call for a boycott of a public figure or a private
individual.
Complicity
3. No one will take part in a boycott imposed by any party.
Penalties
4. (A) Someone who violates the provisions of Section 2, his sentence is two
years imprisonment.
(B) Someone who contravenes the provisions of Section 3 shall be liable for
one year's imprisonment.
Implementation and regulations
5. Minister of Justice is responsible for implementing this law, and may,
with the approval of the Knesset Constitution, Law and Justice Committee,
make regulations for its implementation.
