Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center Launches a New, Upgraded Website

The Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center Launches a New,
Upgraded Website

To our readers:
1. After a year of intensive work, the ITIC's new, upgraded website has been
launched, with additional changes, and is now available at
http://www.terrorism-info.org.il/
.
The site was constructed by YKM, a civilian company, in close collaboration
with the ITIC.

2. The search engine has been improved, the site boasts a new design, and
changes were made using updated technology. We hope the improvements and
changes will attract more surfers to the site, which averages about 200,000
hits a month.

3. The new site can be accessed in seven languages: Hebrew, English, Arabic,
French, Russian, German and Farsi. In the near future it will be available
in Spanish as well.

4. The old site's entire data base of about 5,600 information bulletins in
various languages has been moved to the new website. The data base is an
important tool for experts, officials, journalists and the general public
both in Israel and abroad. It contains information issued during the last
decade about terrorism, terrorism-sponsoring states, incitement, radical
Islam and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in general. We have considerable
evidence indicating that so far, the data base has been widely used.

5. You are invited to inspect the new site, and your remarks are most
welcome.

Yours sincerely,
Dr. (Col. Ret.) Reuven Erlich
Director, Intelligence and
Terrorism Information Center
