PM Netanyahu Congratulates President Peres on Being Awarded the US
Presidential Medal of Freedom

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, early this morning (Thursday, 14 June
2012), spoke with President Shimon Peres and congratulated him on being
awarded the US Presidential Medal of Freedom

Prime Minister Netanyahu told President Peres, "Shimon, congratulations. You
join a small and distinguished list. You are worthy of the Medal and it is
worthy of you. I think that this is a great honor for the State of Israel as
well." The President replied, "Thank you for your dear and heartfelt words.
