...a breakthrough in the relationship between Egypt and Iran is expected in
the coming weeks, when Egyptian President Morsi is scheduled to hold an
official visit to Iran, where he will hand over the presidency of the
Non-Aligned Movement, which he assumed as president of Egypt, to Iranian
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi
stressed that his country hopes to raise the level of representation with
Cairo to the level of ambassadors.
