Bardawil calls Abbas to leave the political scene

GAZA CITY (Alresalah.ps) -- Senior leader of Hamas Salah Bardawil said the
administrative and legal committee, which emerged from the ongoing meetings
between Hamas and the Consensus Government, is not trust-worthy "because it
is subject to Abbas' veto".

Bardawil in criticized President of the PA Mahmoud Abbas, stressing that he
is the biggest hinder in the way of consensus and reconciliation, since he
is being in a state of stubbornness and dictatorship.

The Hamas leader called Abbas to leave the political scene, for he has long
been dominating the three authorities, saying "he hijacks the Fatah
movement, strengthens the blockade on Gaza, consolidates to division and
blackens the representation of the people of Palestine".

Bardawil pointed out that the reconciliation does not need new agreements,
for all the details have been agreed on.

Bardawil said Abbas refuses to start the implementations of the
reconciliation files on false pretenses and disposed the functions of
Consensus Government.

Bardawil confirmed that Hamas briefed the Palestinian factions on the
meetings with the government.
