Russia to Cooperate With Iran on Criminal Extradition – Presidential Decree
According to a published decree, Vladimir Putin ordered the signing of an
agreement with Iran on the extradition of criminals.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the signing of
an agreement with Iran on the extradition of criminals, according to a
decree published on the official Russian legal information website Tuesday.
"To accept the proposal of the government of the Russian Federation to sign
the Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic of
Iran on the transfer of persons sentenced to imprisonment," the document
reads.
Putin instructed Russia's Ministry of Justice to sign the above mentioned
agreement allowing it to introduce not-essential changes.
On Monday, Putin attended a Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) summit in
Tehran and met with Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani.
