TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran warned that the country would take up its previous path
of nuclear advancement if the US continues violation of the 2015 nuclear
deal between Tehran and the world powers.

"If the US creates a situation that continuation of the Joint Comprehensive
Plan of Action (JCPOA) would damage Tehran’s national interest, then Iran is
completely ready to come back to the situation it had prior to the JCPOA
even more powerful than before,” Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif told
reporters in the Central city of Isfahan on Monday.

“As it was said by the Supreme Leader (of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah
Seyed Ali Khamenei), Iran is committed to the promises it has made and is
not to break them," he said.

“During the past couple of months, with the efforts made by the skilled
Iranian scientists and experts, we have succeeded to make operational the
most advanced centrifuges that were just an idea at the time of approving
the JCPOA,” Zarif stressed.

In relevant remarks earlier this month, Zarif underlined that all parties in
the nuclear talks need to remain committed to the JCPOA adopted jointly by
Tehran and the six world powers (Russia, China, the US, Britain, France and
Germany) in Vienna in July 2015.

"Proper implementation of nuclear agreement is the best option for the
western countries, specially the US," Zarif said.
