Indian Investors Licensed for Direct Investment in Iran with Rupee

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Indian government allowed investors to do direct
investment with India’s national unit of currency 'rupee' in Iran.
India's local media reported that the move taken by the Indian government
can boom economic ties between the two countries outstandingly, because,
Iran will attract more investment from India in this respect.
They reiterated that the Indian government has issued direct investment’s
license with rupee in Iran.
Under the Indian government rules and regulations, investors of the country
are obliged to use foreign currencies in other countries.
According to the report, Indian nationals and investors could invest in
Iranian banks with rupee.
Generally speaking, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s visit to India has
opened a new chapter in mutual cooperation, particularly in economic ties.
Rouahni arrived in Hyderabad, India, at the head of a high-ranking political
and economic delegation at the official invitation of Indian Prime Minister
Narendra Modi.
