Weekly Commentary: Act Now! Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez represents the future
of the Democratic Party?

Israel has a window of opportunity to inoculate itself against the
consequences of radical Democrats coming to power in the United States.
Radicals leading the Democratic Party?
Far be it from me, sitting in Israel, to claim any expertise in American
I do know, however, that it would be reckless to assume that the Democratic
Party will never return to power.
As for the future nature of the Democratic Party, let's rely on the
assessment of someone in the thick of it:
In a radio interview Tuesday, Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom
Perez said Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez “represents the future of our party.”
What do I mean by "inoculating"?
Doing everything in our power today to remove or reduce the potential for

separating the two.
#2. Legislating that the huge expanse of land that’s been exposed by the
receding Dead Sea is State Land. This is land that NEVER was held by
anyone since until now it was underwater! The absence of a designation of
this land as State Land prevents Israeli development of the area.
#3. Effective implementation of the recommendations of the committee headed
by Retired Supreme Court Justice Edmond Levy that would essentially resolve
all issues regarding Jewish construction in Judea and Samaria.
And of course there is more.
And that's before talking about such things as annexation.
Yes. President Trump may very well be annoyed if we take our fate in our
But the consequences of an annoyed Trump are magnitudes less than what an
annoyed radical president could do against us in the future.
Sanctions imposed by the UN Security Council?
BDS is nothing as compared to what a radical president could do against the
Yes - we have a lot on the plate. But with the possibility that radical
Democrats may come to power in a few years we simply cannot afford to kick
the can down the road.
