Knesset Christian Allies Caucus to Celebrate 3rd Anniversary

The Knesset Christian Allies Caucus to Celebrate Third Anniversary

Jerusalem - The Knesset Christian Allies Caucus (KCAC) will convene
tomorrow, on January 9, 2007, at 18:30 in the Lecture Hall of the Knesset to
celebrate its three year anniversary. It will take this opportunity to
review its accomplishments in 2006, discuss future initiatives and plot a
course for its future direction.

Those attending this meeting will include Members of Knesset from the entire
political spectrum, as well as some of the top Christian leaders in Israel
today.

Among its greatest achievements this year was the KCAC's launching of a
sister caucus in the United States House of Representatives known as the
"Congressional Israel Allies Caucus." The KCAC plans to create similar
pro-Israel caucuses in governments around the world and ultimately create an
international network of parliamentary sister caucuses that coordinate
activities in support of Israel in close communication with one another.

More than that, the KCAC convened in 2006 with top leaders in the United
States, Europe, Singapore, and South Africa. It
is currently planning to hold similar meetings with government officials in
London, New Zealand, Canada and Japan in 2007.
The initiatives promoted by the KCAC in 2006 included programs to increase
Christian tourism to Israel, to reach out to the African American community,
to improve the status of women globally using Judeo-Christian values, and to
strengthen ties with Christians of all denominations internationally.

The Knesset Christian Allies Caucus was established in January of 2004 to
open formal and direct lines of communication between the representatives of
the Jewish people and Christians around the world. The Caucus consists of
twelve members of Knesset from seven political parties across the political
spectrum.
