Moshe Green of Tzomet to IMRA: We will not run with Likud

IMRA asked Tzomet chairman Moshe Green about the negotiations he has held
over Tzomet joining the Likud Party list. 1,509 voted for Tzomet in the 2006
Knesset Elections. The minimum number of votes required for representation
in those elections was 62,760. The conversation was in Hebrew.

IMRA: Have you finalized a deal with the Likud?

Green: No. What did you hear?

IMRA: I heard on Israel Radio that Tzomet has concluded a deal to run with
the Likud.

Green: Spins oif the Likud. The Likud wants us but we don't want the Likud.
That's the truth.

IMRA: So nothing has been concluded?

Green: Nothing has been concluded and nothing will be concluded.

IMRA: So you don't expect it to be concluded?

Green: It isn't that I don't expect. I simply don't want it. Tzomet can
get a lot of Knesset seats. There is a poll that shows that Tzomet could
get 16% of the vote.
