TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araqchi underlined
Tehran's firm stance in opposition to the inclusion of its defense systems
and technology in the nuclear talks with the world powers, and stressed that
any final deal between the two sides should include a annulment of all
sanctions.

"The Iranian negotiators don’t hold any talks on the country's defense
systems and equipment," Araqchi told FNA on Sunday.

He also underscored the necessity for the inclusion of the annulment of all
sanctions against Iran in any comprehensive deal with the Group 5+1 (the US,
Russia, China, Britain and France plus Germany), and said, "In our view,
there will be no agreement without the removal of sanctions and we won't
accept such an agreement."

"We expect that in case of any agreement, the UN Security Council issues a
resolution to approve the deal and annul its own (UNSC) sanctions, and the
unilateral and multilateral sanctions related to Iran's nuclear program
should also be cancelled," Araqchi emphasized.

In relevant remarks last Sunday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said
Tehran would never accept to include its missile program in the talks with
the world powers, and stressed Tehran's serious intention for continuing
uranium enrichment.

"Iran's missile power cannot undergo negotiation at all and at any level,"
President Rouhani said in a meeting with visiting Director General of the
International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Yukio Amano in Tehran.

He said any agreement between Iran and the G5+1 as envisaged in the Geneva
deal inked by the seven nations in November should entail Iran's continued
uranium enrichment for civilian purposes inside the country and removal of
all unilateral and international sanctions against Tehran.

"We have no fear of cooperation to obviate the ambiguities since use of the
Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs) has no room in Iran's defensive doctrine
based on the codes of ethics and within the framework of religion and the
fatwa (religious decree) issued by Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution
(Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei)," President Rouhani stressed.

"Undoubtedly, reaching a comprehensive agreement can be a win-win game for
both sides and will help further peace and stability in the region and the
world, and Iran's further and more effective relations with the world,"
President Rouhani said.

Also yesterday, Iran's Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan
reiterated that any information about the country's missile industry and
scientists are highly confidential and would never become a topic of talks
between Tehran and the world powers.

"The missile issue has not been raised in the negotiations and Iran's
missile power will never be an issue for negotiations with anyone," Dehqan
told reporters in a press conference in Tehran on Saturday.

Asked if Tehran has permitted the IAEA to visit its military site in
Parchin, near Tehran, he said, "The Agency has visited Parchin several times
and taken samples; therefore, this is not an issue for discussions now."

Dehqan stressed that Iran would never provide anyone with "information about
its defense scientists", and added, "This issue is not acceptable to us."
