Beirut, SANA (Official Syrian news agency) – Hezbollah announced that its
Quneitra Martyrs Brigade targeted Wednesday morning an Israeli military
convoy with rockets.

The convoy included a number of vehicles and several Israeli officers and
soldiers, according to a statement no. 1.

Hezbollah noted in its statement that the operation, which took place in
Burket al-Naqqar area south of occupied Shebaa Farms, resulted in inflicting
losses upon the enemy’s ranks, in addition to destroying a number of the
vehicles.

The Lebanese National News Agency (NMA) reported that an Israeli soldier was
captured during the operation in Shebaa.

Earlier, news broke that a number of Israeli soldiers were killed and others
were wounded after an Israeli convoy was ambushed in Burket al-Naqqar area
in Shebaa Farms.

There have been conflicting reports about the number of the casualties amid
an Israeli media blackout. However, media outlets mentioned that 4 to 15
Israeli soldiers were killed and others were injured.

Reports also said that 9 Israeli army’s vehicles were hit in the operation.

Israeli occupation army raised its DEFCON, closed Rosh Pina and Haifa
airports and blocked a number of roads in settlements in northern occupied
Palestine, while the Israeli artillery bombarded a number of locations in
South Lebanon.
