Riyadh, Jumada II 9, 1436, March 29, 2015, SPA - Saudi Press Agency --
Brig. Gen. Ahmed bin Hasan Asiri, consultant at the minister of defense's
office, said today that the "determination storm" operation is continuing
for the fourth day in a row, drawing attention to the fact that the Houthi
militia managed to work in the previous period while they were in complete
power in the country to transfer Yemen to a huge inventory of ammunition and
weapons covering all the Yemeni provinces, citing that the Houthi militia,
which was controlling all airports and sea ports, has raised, upon an
agreement with a regional country, the rate of domestic flights to 14 per
week, most of them used to transport ammunition and weapons to different
parts of the country, making it a big job for the alliance forces now to
pinpoint the locations of those stores before targeting them.

In his fourth daily briefing on the campaign, which he held at Riyadh
airbase, Asiri said that work is underway to destroy the remaining ballistic
missiles, particularly the mobile ones. He said a great intelligence effort
is being exerted to determine the locations of those hidden machines by the
Houthi militias inside homes and residential areas.

He added that the alliance forces continue to target the air defense
devices, including Sam missiles and anti-craft artillery as well as the
ammunition stores.

He said the alliance forces are also checking the movement of the Houthi
militias and controlling all the territories.

He confirmed that there will not be any safe haven for Houthi militia
concentrations, pointing out that the aircraft are roaming Yemeni skies
round the clock, and will hit their mobilizations or movements on the whole
Yemeni soil, especially the movements in the Southern provinces, heading to
current legitimate capital of Aden or around it.

Houthi militias seek to mobilize as much as it could of supplies and
reinforcements to prolong their operations, Asiri remarked, pointing out
that the Saudi Royal Air Force is targeting all convoys, which carry
supplies to them, be them money, fuel or ammunition, amid ongoing targeting
of their concentrations at the Southern border of the Kingdom or to the
North of Yemeni territories.

During the continuous surveillance of the Yemeni territories, it appeared
that the Houthi militias have moved some aircraft to a base, outside of
Sana'a city, however it have been, promptly targeted, during the last 24
hours and have been completely destroyed, Asiri asserted.

Casting light on the land operations of today, Asiri said the Saudi Royal
Land Forces continued shelling, using artillery and Apache, by its forces
based in Najran and Jazan towards all the moving and fixed concentrations of
the Houthi militias located opposite to the Saudi southern border.

In this regard, an Apache squadron has successfully attacked over the last
24 hours a Houthi camp accommodating a command center, machineries and
vehicles, likely deployed to attack the southern regions' military sectors,
and totally devastated it, he said.

He disclosed that among the reasons why the military operation is delayed is
that the alliance forces would not like to attack the infrastructure of the
country, including roads, buildings or other facilities the Houthi militias
are using.

He confirmed that the alliance forces would augment pressure on the Houthi
militias and their individual and group movements, leaving Yemen no safe
haven for them.

He explained that operations over Al-Hudaidah airport were suspended for
nearly two hours to allow the brethren Pakistanis to evacuate some 500
dependants from Yemen.

Answering reporters’ questions related to missiles, which have been
controlled by the Yemeni Army loyal to the legitimate government and fell in
the hands of Houthi militias, Brig. Asiri stressed that these ballistic
missiles are considered as targetable goals for the airstrikes' campaign.

Houthis, he added, try to mobilize them, in order to be concealed, however,
will of God, we will get rid of them, in the next few days, adding that the
militias which overthrown the legitimacy have seized all capabilities of the
Yemeni Army, nonetheless, the strikes of "Determination Storm" have
inflicted heavy casualties on the Houthis and their allies and diminished
their resources and might on the ground.

Asiri said that, consequently, their movement has become more slow and
randomly-managed as well as their panicked decisions, due to the intensive
pressure. Yemen will be safe and stable, will of Allah, in the coming few
days, he stated.

On how to deal with any aircraft that might fly over the Yemeni airspace,
Asiri pointed out that the airspace is under the full control of the Allied
Force and none can move over it, unless under the knowledge of the Saudi
Royal Air Force or the Allied Forces, stressing that no aid or supply to the
Houthis, come what may, shall be tolerated.

Asked about reports that the presence of some heavy trucks affiliated to the
alliance forces are signs of an imminent land attack, he said such movements
are natural in this case, confirming that the situation in the Saudi
southern border cities is quiet and stable and drawing attention that plans
have been set to protect the border and population according to siren
alarms. Such movements are not considered as land operations, he added.

He confirmed that the land forces artillery and Apache will not allow the
Houthi militias to start digging trenches or so or reassemble their forces,
noting that all the Houthi military and media aspects are being targeted and
all communication, telecommunication and financing facilities are being
paralyzed.

He added that they could not use any port and will not enjoy any safe have
as pressuring operations are around the clock. He drew the attention that
the air operations are on the increase, using all kinds of state-of-the-art
aircraft in a way which will not allow the Houthi militia's to run any
operation in any place in the coming days.
