Weekly Commentary: Finally an Adult in Charge - Salaried Trouble Makers
Barred From Temple Mount

Hats off to Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan for the decision to act
again the gang of salaried trouble makers who were harassing Jewish visitors
to the Temple Mount.

The group's activities provided a daily supply of videos and photographs
for the media of their cursing. pushing and otherwise interfering with Jews
at the site.

To be clear: there is absolutely no question why these people were there.

Even the official news agency of the PLO, WAFA, doesn't claim that the group
was at the Temple Mount to pray.

Here's how they described the group in a report yesterday: "a group of male
and female Muslim protesters, often referred to as Mourabitoun, who gather
at al-Aqsa Mosque around the clock to block settlers."

Hopefully this move marks a permanent change in the handling of the
situation on the Temple Mount and not just a temporary measure.
