Observation: Turn for the useful idiots? Rashida Tlaib unmasked: hurting
Israel trumps visiting grandmother
Dr. Aaron Lerner 16 August, 2019
Step #1: "I would like to request admittance to Israel in order to visit my
relatives, and specifically my grandmother, who is in her 90s and lives in
Beit Ur al-Fouqa. This could be my last opportunity to see her. I will
respect any restrictions and will not promote boycotts against Israel during
August 15, 2019 letter from Rep. Rashida Tlaib to Minister Deri
Let us walk through this:
#1. The purpose of the visit is to visit relatives.
#2. It is possibly the last chance Tlaib has to see her grandmother.
#3. Tlaib committed to "respect any restrictions ".
Step #2: Israel apparently set restrictions so that the visit would truly
be what she stated it was going to be. A visit to her relatives.
Step #3: "Silencing me & treating me like a criminal is not what she wants
for me. It would kill a piece of me. I have decided that visiting my
grandmother under these oppressive conditions stands against everything I
believe in--fighting against racism, oppression & injustice.
Tlaib thought we would be idiots and not establish clear restrictions to
insure that her visit would be limited to visiting relatives, thus allowing
her to exploit the ostensibly humanitarian family visit to "fighting against
racism, oppression & injustice".
We weren't idiots.
Step #4 Will the American Jews and others be Rashida Tlaib's useful idiots?
We will see this play out in the coming hours.
They are useful idiots if they slam Israel.
They aren't useful idiots if instead they slam Tlaib for clearly trying to
deceive Israel and, in turn, refusing to visit her grandmother if she can't
exploit the visit to hurt the Jewish State.
