Observation: Slam First - Think Later - Netanyahu's Critics Attack His Desire To Annex Jewish Communities

Observation: Slam First - Think Later - Netanyahu's Critics Attack His
Desire To Annex Jewish Communities
Dr. Aaron Lerner 1 September, 2019

#1. Prime Minister Netanyahu said today that he would like to annex the
Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria.

#2. Center and Left politicians rushed to issue statements claiming that
Netanyahu was going to add millions of Palestinians to the country.

But Mr. Netanyahu didn't even talk about annexing Area C. Only the small
areas of the Jewish communities. NO PALESTINIANS.

Oops.

Its not the Center and Left who have something to wonder about. It’s the
national camp.

Because the question at this juncture is not the Jewish communities.

The question is the rest of Area C.

Will the status of this critical area be transformed from C to B in some
kind of deal?

Reminder: Area B is also under Israeli security control so Mr. Netanyahu
could proclaim that such a move had no security consequences. The fact
that the move would strip Israel of the only major land mass near Tel Aviv
available for future Israeli housing construction would be ignored by most.

But wouldn't annexation of Area C mean millions of Palestinians?

The HIGHEST estimates for the area are around 100,000.

Oops.
